The conference will take place on the campus of UCLA, at the Charles E. Young Research Library.

In order to help with your planning, the following accommodation options are available:

Airports: 

For air arrivals, LAX is the closest to campus, but the Burbank Airport (Bob Hope Airport) is also at driving distance from the conference. You may wish to check both.

Public Transportation in Los Angeles – Metro (the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority), The Big Blue Bus and the Metro Expo Line

While the subway system doesn’t reach campus, many express bus lines do.  LA Metro and the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus lines all have many terminals on/or near the UCLA campus. If you need help planning your routes, contact the conference coordinator)

Los Angeles public transit costs $1.75 per ride and tap cards can be purchased for daily prices ($7 per day). (https://www.metro.net/riding/fares/)

The Big Blue Bus and the Metro Expo Line

Santa Monica has its own public transit system. The Santa Monica Big Blue Bus line costs 1.25$ per ride and daily cards can also be purchased . (https://www.bigbluebus.com/Fares/Fare-Information.aspx).

The Metro Expo Line will get you from Santa Monica to Downtown Los Angeles in less than 45 minutes.
